Alex is a PI who gets dirt on cheating spouses.
very interesting read.
L.A. Pepper is a great author and continues to write fabulous books.

Secrets

I first fell in love with this story when I read it in ebook form. Now, it became more alive for me with the audiobook form. The story is nice, with a lot of underlying issues that people can relate to. It’s really easy to find the characters lovable. They each had glaring flaws but boy was the chemistry off the charts when they were together!

Interesting

I liked the story and the characters, I had a hard time with the narrator, sounded to young ...I liked it over all though for a short listen , I like the author

An entertaining story

This is my first exposure to this author, and I have to say I really enjoyed this audio.
The story centers around Alexandra/Alex and Jordan.
Alex is a single mom making a living as a private detective. Most of her work is tracking down cheaters. She meets Jordan, a pediatrician, at a bar while she was waiting for her mark to show up.
One thing leads to another after her mark doesn’t show up. A one night stand occurs, and Alex leaves the man that has touched her physically and emotionally, never thinking that fate would bring them together.
Things get complicated, not only when they meet, but also when Alex realizes Jordan is the son of the man she was trying to find cheating.
The story is filled with lots of drama, intrigue, family issues, and of course romance.
It’s worth mentioning that the narrator did a good job with the voices.
