A Classic Tale, Fantastic Narration

This was the first story of Lovecraft I had heard and that wan an audio drama. I also love the HP Lovecraft Historical Society excellent audio drama version as well. I hadn't heard the original story so I enjoyed this version. The narrator was wonderful and did great character voices. I enjoyed hearing the full story, a strange tale of an unusual family with an unusual birth that nearly brought about the end of the world. A must listen.

Brilliant narration!

I'm a fan of HPL's skill in creating dread (I know he was a bigoted git). The narrator absolutely nails what this story conveys. Loud applause!

his writing style is great I didn't grasp the whole story this first time read of this one. I'm going through all his stories

it's just hard to rank short stories night but I guess it should be done acrosong to short stories. his skill of writing is phenomenal. this one was a little weird but it was still good I'm gonna have to read it again. I read the book along too. I didn't follow everything reading it I read little parts late at light before bed in the morning so I may have missed a lot. he's not an easy read.
