Fantastic Story

I absolutely loved the characters in this book, a especially Atta, as well as the very intriguing story line. The narration was so good I was immediately drawn in by Ms. McGrath and Mr. Murphy, and I hope to see a part 2 to this book! I will definitely be listening to more that are narrated by Ms. McGrath! What a treasure!

This story was amazing! I’ll never be the same. Folklore, faeries, and a love story. Loved it!

Worth It!

Such great casting for the narrators! The book is already divine, and the audiobook is the perfect companion.

Comfort Read

This is a book I’ll return to read or listen to again and again. Beautifully written and refreshingly unique. J.L. Vampa is a shining star.

Moody and poetic

I enjoyed it so much for the Irish accents and gothic moody setting. Nothing groundbreaking as far as the story, but the delivery was kinda poetic so I was pulled into it and enjoyed it tremendously. Part way through I realized that it’s similar to Nocticadia in story lines and moodiness. Haven’t realized that it was used in advertising for the book lol so if you read nocticadia you may notice similarities, but I still liked the way it was executed in this book and absolutely recommend this quick read. Biggest problem I had was that the ending felt a tad rushed. Especially after a slow build up from the beginning of the story. I’m not sure if the second book is going to continue the story (I suspect not) or just be set in the same universe, but I’m looking forward to that. And I have enjoyed the writing style and narration so much, I’m immediately going to checkout the author’s other series which I apparently already own 😝
