Charlie West just woke up in someone else's nightmare. He's strapped to a chair. He's covered in blood and bruises. He hurts all over. And a strange voice outside the door just ordered his death. The last thing he can remember is that he was a normal high-school kid doing normal things: working on his homework, practicing karate, daydreaming of becoming an Air Force pilot, writing a pretty girl's number on his hand. How long ago was that? Where is he now? Who is he really? And more to the point.... How is he going to get out of this room alive?

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes suspense and puzzles.Who was your favorite character and why?
Charlie West, was of course the best character.Have you listened to any of Joshua Swanson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This is the first time I heard Joshua Swanson perform and I was impressed.Any additional comments?
Charlie West is put through the ringer and throughout the book I kept hoping for some relief for him. In a way, he is like James Bond in that he has some great talents but he needs his brains to put those talents to his best advantage. Unlike Bond, he has no backup. There is no country, no spy network, to support him. He is totally on his own...at least at this point. I can't wait to listen to the next installment.Who can you trust?
