Search for happiness/peace

Love the character development and the engaging storyline. Loved the narrators they were new for me but surprisingly enjoyable. This book is worth the read. Disappointed to find no EPILOGUE!!!

Engaging storylines & revisit old friends

I loved to see how Quarry Pack has fared since we left Una and Killian, Kennedy and the others. The narrators were great, and what a heartwarming ending to a harrowing tale!

Darragh & Mari

I love anything Cate writes and absolutely love this story. My only complaint is how the female narrator performs the male dialogue- she sounds, toothy? Idk how to explain it but I picture a bulldog with an underbite. When she’s speaking as Darragh it’s so garbled I barely understand what she’s saying.

I enjoyed the story very much. I wish that there wasn’t so much angst in it from the female lead.
