Imagine you find yourself in a world that prizes martial arts above all else, and that I am the descendant of an ancient clan who have honed their skill from generation to generation to rise to the ranks of the most powerful . . . Bet you're surprised, right?

The thing is, most of my teachers say I'm a hopeless, talentless loser. No big deal, at first glance at least. I can survive just fine without talent.

There's just one catch—I'm already dead. Or am I?

The school story angle attracted my attention. While the school portion was there, in limited terms, it was the quirky and unique masters that stood out in the story. And the unusual way they trained the MC, Adrian. Story should be categorized under teen to young adult. Book 1 pretty much, for me, set up everything for what is to come. All characters introduced. Backgrounds touched upon. Now the action and consequences come. Good story. DRmz 2-26-26

the author clearly took a lot of inspiration for Kenichi history Strongest Disciple to the point I think it can't be published in Japan.

other than it's a very standard isekai. The end of the book is a bit more interesting with a bit of a man hunt. that's all I'll say about that.

Over all this was a very weak first Book. I'm personally going to drop the series.

I'm sorry to say that this book dure too many similarities to a manga that I was reading in the early 2000

This book is almost identical to Kenichi The Mightiest Disciple. I listened to the whole thing hoping it would veer away from that, but it never really does.
