Hopefully a set up or something better

Not much to say without spoiling the story. I just hope the main character does what he sets out to do at the end of the book.

Really great story

Great book overall, I’ve really enjoyed the story, the characters and the plot. Can’t wait for the second one!

Great pilot episode to a really good Isekai.

Don’t go in thinking this is it; this is just the very beginning.
It starts like what you think will, but the next books are premium. This is a pilot to Wisher’s badass world.

If only I was paid to give props, I’d have a dime.

He’s a Marine

No Marine would ever call themselves a soldier. And it shows that the author has so little respect for the character that they didn’t do any research into calling themselves a Marine. And over and over again he calls himself a soldier. Both are earned titles. A solider would never call themselves a Marine because they put forth a lot of time and effort to be called a soldier a Marine put forth a lot of time and effort to be called a Marine. It may sound pedantic. But it’s a grating thing.
