I didn’t really like the narrator for this story. It took me out of the storyline more than once. The fake male voices cheapen the characters.

I thought this was a pretty decent YA listen. The story was well-written. I’m just here because nothing satisfies me after the ACOTARand FBAA series so I’m just trying to find something to sate my thirst for a good fantasy read. I’m going to go ahead and check out book #2.

It’s definitely a good story… Draws you in and keeps you there even with its predictable parts. Narration is excellent voices distinct genders well differentiated. Definitely worth the credit definitely worth the read
