Lacking vocal/acting range.

The story is great and I'm a big fan of it owning the light novels. That said while the narration is fine the narrator lacks vocal acting range what is becoming expected from light novel audiobooks and fiction audiobooks in general. There is little difference between character voices even male and female. At times you'll even notice the reader using the wrong voice for a character for the limited differences there is. Also things like a female character shouting in a strong male voice.

I really wish they had gotten a more experienced narrator with a decent amount of anime vaing beyond one series and one ova as support roles. It was already bad enough to how poorly the anime was done to also have a sub par audiobook.
