In this world, the only thing more precious than water is trust.

Oskar Dorn is no stranger to nightmares. As a Marine, he lived through more than his fair share, but these new dreams carry a weight no battlefield ever did. The screams of his brother Erik—long believed dead—ring in his mind every night, calling for help.

With reality fraying at the edges, Oskar heeds the call, drawn to a terrifying space between worlds and ultimately to a desolate planet on the brink of collapse: a place where water is lifeblood and the fading remnants of magic cling desperately to it.

To save his brother, Oskar will have to fight—but even with his newfound druidic power, standing against a Crocodilian warlord and a dark shaman puppeteering from the shadows is a deadly gamble.
But this isn't just about his brother anymore.

Oskar was summoned for a reason: a broken man, chosen to heal a broken world.

Wayspring Wanderer

Oskar has been plagued by nightmares since his Marine days. Every night, he hears his presumed dead brother screaming. He follows the screams of his nightmares north in the waking world only to find himself Isekaied to a dessert world with gamelike magic. He is offered the unique class of a Wayspring Druid. So he’s now a druid…in a desert.

Talk about a class twist! I always think lush green places when you hear druid, but it just works! The characters that are introduced are really fun. Pub and Penny steal the show. I’m really looking forward to book 2! Daniel Wisniewski does a great job narrating as always!

I read this one on RoyalRoad and loved it. Joedan Worley is an extremely talented storyteller, and I loved the connections the characters had to each other. Daniel Wisniewski's narration brings a whole new level to the book! Amazing voices, great comedic timing, but also deep and meaningful when the story calls for it. These two are a great combination and I can't wait for book 2!

Amazing new Druid series!

This book was a blast to read! The back and forth and quick remarks was funny as hell that will keep you entertained for the long haul. The magic system was easy to learn and wasn’t that complex that you would get lost three chapters in. The plot was simple but not as simple that you knew what was going to happen next chapter and it kept you guessing. This book is worth the credit or money and you won’t regret it, looking forward to more from this series!

Amazing Start!
