""HEARTWARMING AND SEXY AND LEFT ME BUBBLY WITH JOY."" —Tarah DeWitt, author of Savor It

A sweet and spicy holiday romance between a spirited artist who returns to her small town for Christmas and her older brother’s best friend, a serious architect who pushes all her buttons—but whom she can’t seem to stay away from.

Lena’s plans are simple. Surprise her family for Christmas, don’t tell them she lost her job, and most importantly, spend the week relaxing with the people she cares about.

But when she arrives in Juniper, she discovers she’s not the only unexpected guest this year. Her older brother’s best friend, Gavin, is back after disappearing three years ago without a word. He has the kind of charm Lena has always been drawn to. But she knows he’s also the kind of temptation she needs to stay far away from.

Gavin has built his architecture career out of planning strategies for dealing with the unexpectedbut he didn’t have a strategy for the possibility of seeing Lena again. Though he’s been dreaming of her since the day he left, he can’t risk giving in to his feelings when they could upend the only family and home he has ever known.

New plan: try to be friends again. Just friends.

But as the pieces fall into place about why Gavin left, staying friends is the last thing on his mind…and on Lena’s. All the plans they’ve made might end up completely wrecked. And for once, maybe they want it that way.

Wreck My Plans is a small-town holiday romance full of Christmas spice, featuring:

  • Older brother's best friend
  • Found family

This was a cute story but lacked depth. I also really struggle with Samantha Brentmoor as a narrator sometimes. Her cadence is somewhat whiny with a lilt at the end of each sentence. Almost like she's asking a question. It didnt work great with this story but overall an easy listen.

Cute story

I am a sucker for brother's best friend/it's always been you but make it at Christmas time and I am over the moon happy!

Lena and Gavin are so adorable. They dance around each other until they end up dancing with each other. Gavin always loses everyone in his life and he has a giant fear of losing Lena's family if he pursues her. The moment when both of them finally realize their feelings is holiday magic. I loved it!

Samantha Brentmoor and Patrick Zeller give these characters excellent portrayals.

All the holiday goodness!!!

This book is one of my favorite holiday romances I’ve ever read. It’s heartfelt, it’s emotional, it’s swoony and heartwarming, it’s perfection.
The audio was so easy to listen to!

Lena’s return home for Christmas gets complicated fast when her brother’s best friend—and her longtime crush—shows up after three years of silence. The chemistry between Lena and Gavin crackles, and their emotional journey had me rooting for them the whole way.

If you love small-town settings, second chances, and the “just friends” lie we all know won’t last... this one’s for you!

Jillian Meadows writes pure magic!! Witty banter, smoldering chemistry and yearning that had me aching for Gavin & his “little menace”.

I picked this audiobook back up because I craved something warm and familiar, and this book was the perfect remedy.

Samantha Brentmoor and Patrick Zeller gave a damn good performance. Their tone, pacing, inflections- all 5 stars. Patrick captures Gavin’s angst and need for Lena exquisitely. And Samantha’s rasp brings Lena to life that felt spot on.

I really want to highlight the more… intimate scenes because they knocked it out of the park. Jillian writes scrumptious heat and Lena’s breathiness with Gavin’s low growl had me fanning myself and feeling my face flush.

I swooned, I cried, I ended up looking up cozy Christmas cabins on Pinterest. Overall that’s the making of a solid Christmas novel in my book!!

Cozy Christmas Perfection!
