The Plainsman – The Cavalry Scout chronicles Sam Jackson’s time serving at a cavalry scout in New Mexico and Arizona. When he is transferred from Fort Union to Fort Apache, he meets a young woman named Nora Starr while on the stage coach. Sam and Nora develop a friendship which eventually turns into love for each other.

The Cattlemen is a Western novel based on the relationship between Bill Brubaker and Bud Baxter, childhood friends who share the dream of becoming cattlemen. The friends grew up on adjoining farms in the Huzzah Valley in central Missouri, left home together, fought in the Civil War in the same unit, and went to Texas together to pursue their dream of becoming Cattlemen. They rounded up feral cattle in Texas and Oklahoma Territory.

Soiled doves are being systematically killed in Denver, Boulder, and other towns in Colorado. Governor Evans understands the mindset of the insane and knows the killer must be stopped. He calls on Denver Marshal Seth Stewart, appoints him as a Special Investigator and U.S. Marshal, and tasks him with the responsibility of finding the killer and bringing him to justice. Everything points to one of two men; both seemingly are around the town on the day that a killing occurs. It seems that the more Marshal Stewart discovers, the less he knows.

After putting together a large herd of Texas longhorn cattle, Hannibal and Stumpy headed the herd for California. Comancheros kidnapped Hannibal’s wife, Morning Star, to sell in Mexico. Hannibal set out alone to find and return her. Once they had secured Morning Star and other girls' release, Stumpy and Hannibal sold the cattle as planned and headed back to Kansas Territory. Now it was time to build a ranching operation.

Unholy Dilemma 3 – A Search for logic in the Qur’an is a book which deals with the claims, admonitions, scientific errors, conflations, and absurdities that are found in the Islamic Holy Writ. Various Surahs and Ayahs (chapter and verse) are quoted and then examined for clarity of thought and divine inspiration and revelation. As a by-product of the book, the Old and New Testaments are compared to the Qur’an and where noted, the obvious plagiarism of these more ancient documents is noted.

Jedidiah Frank Stewart left his home in Missouri at age 15 and headed west to become a mountain man. During his travels to Colorado, he saved a wounded Pawnee Indian and spent a winter living with the man’s tribe. He worked as a cattle drover, and then as an Indian scout for the Frontier Regiment in Texas before heading to the Rockies. After making it to the Rocky Mountains, he met an old mountain man who showed him how to survive in the wilderness. Jake met a white girl who was living with the Crow Indians in the Rockies.

Hannibal and Stumpy travel to Kansas and purchase Amos, a prized shorthorn bull to breed their cattle. Rustlers try to steal the prize bull and pay for their folly at the end of a rope on a giant catalpa tree on the ranch. Stumpy rescues a girl from Comancheros, and then fights the Comanche Iron Kettle and his braves to get back home. He ends up keeping the Indian alive and hangs him from the giant catalpa tree. A demented preacher hires men to kidnap the girl Stumpy rescued.

The Bounty Hunter: The Legend Begins is the story of Peter “Spike” Davis, who leaves his parents’ Missouri farm to find his fortune in the West. By happenchance, he stumbles upon the role of hunting men for the reward on their heads, and discovers he has a talent for tracking, capturing, or killing humans. He takes some of the reward money he has accumulated, and buys a small cattle ranch in Bent County, Colorado, only to find there are no cows as were promised.

The story of Hannibal Brinks and Stumpy Smith continues. Stumpy and Mabel get married and move into his cabin. Hannibal and Stumpy decide to take another trip to the Neutral Strip in search of feral cattle. Thelma decides that she wants to be a working cowhand and puts her mettle on display by saddle breaking a horse that Hannibal couldn’t handle

The Plainsman – The Wagon Train Scout is the 2nd book in the Plainsman series. Sam Jackson was to wear many hats during his life: freight wagon driver, wagon train scout, Deputy town Marshal, Deputy Sheriff, scout for the 9th and 6th Cavalry, and U.S. Marshal for the Western Division of Texas. Sam responded to a newspaper ad asking for someone to scout for a wagon train bound for Santa Fe, New Mexico, on the Santa Fe Trail. Sam sent a telegram and surprisingly was hired sight unseen. He traveled from Texas to Independence, Missouri.

Jeff Baker survives the Civil War and becomes a U.S. Marshal in the Indian Territory. He tires of hunting and killing men in order to keep the peace and resigns. After settling at Bitter Creek, in Hardin County, Texas, he gathers cattle and sells them in Galveston. He saves the life of a Negro boy and acts as his guardian. Jeff finds that he can’t hide from his responsibilities and becomes a U.S. Marshal in Houston, Texas. The Clancy brothers are rustling cattle and mixing them in with their herd. Three men rob the Wells Fargo office and head out toward Beaumont.

The Plainsman – The Bounty Hunter begins the story of Samuel Jackson. Sam was to wear many hats during his life: freight wagon driver, wagon train scout, Deputy Town Marshal, Deputy Sheriff, scout for the 9th and 6th Cavalry, and U.S. Marshal for the Western Division of Texas. Sam tracked and captured several killers, bandits, and other wanted individuals. All without having to kill any of them. Working out of Austin and San Angelo, Texas, he monitored wanted posters until he found someone within riding distance to attempt to capture.

William “Bill” Stewart left Missouri to seek his fortune. Along the way, he worked as a cow puncher, range detective, town marshal, sheriff, and US marshal. In each job, he is forced into conflicts with the Indians. Finally his skills as an Indian fighter caught the attention of the US Army, and he was given a commission. He soon discovered that his greatest challenge was in following orders while retaining his humanity.

Tipi Morris was a 12-year-old girl and part of a wagon train headed west. She was up early and went into a draw, leading her foal, Sundance, to relieve herself and let him graze. While she was hidden from sight, Indians attacked the wagon train and killed everyone including her parents. After the screams stopped and the Indians rode off, Tipi went to the wagons, and buried her parents. She scavenged everything she could find that was usable for the wagons and the Colt Baby Dragoon pistol and money that was hidden in her parent’s wagon.

The Davis brothers saga continues when two girls are taken hostage by Comancheros. The Davises are hired to go after the girls and return them to their parents. Chip and Spike accept the task. They leave Jeb in charge of the ranch and ride off with Andy trotting along beside them. The brothers soon discover that they are facing overwhelming odds. It seems that no matter how many Comancheros they killed, there are always more. On their way to save the girls from a fate worse than death, they face renegade Indians, cattle thieves, and more Comancheros than they want to confront.

Chip is purchasing supplies at Bent’s Stockade when he comes upon buffalo hunters who are holding a Cheyenne girl. He rescues the girl and heads out to return her to the Cheyenne village with the buffalo hunters hot on his heels. Ma Wheeler learns of an assassin and contacts him with an offer to go to Colorado and get the revenge she craves for the Davises’ killing her sons and nephews. Samuel T. Brummett has the same skills with rifle and pistols as the Davises. His arrival in Bent County sets up a test of wills, and the outcome of the possible conflict is in question.

The Bounty Hunter: The Wheelers continues the story of Spike Davis. Now he has his brothers, Chip and Jeb, to help with the wild mustang operation, and their assistance in his life as a bounty hunter that seems to keep calling him back. Once the Wheeler brothers are captured and locked up in jail, Spike goes back to the ranch only to find out they have escaped and vowed to kill him and his family. While they are chasing the Wheelers, two more Wheeler brothers escape from prison in Missouri and head for Colorado to kill the bounty hunter who hounded their brothers.

Chip Davis gets mauled by a Cougar, while elk hunting and is nursed back to health by White Dove, a white woman named Melissa Johnson, who was adopted by the Cheyenne. The Cheyenne agreed to let him leave with the warning that they would kill Melissa if he led white men to their camp. Jeb gets drygulched on his way back to the Davis ranch, after selling horses to the army and has to contend with three bandits.

After working on the Oliver Rogers ranch, Bas and Fletch Stevens decide to go out on their own. They are faced with the daunting challenge of building a ranching operation on the Arkansas River in Colorado. Among their challenges are the Indians who consider the area their home, the hostile weather, cattle rustlers, homesteaders who encroach on the public land, and the ever-changing price of beef.

The Davis brothers had survived the Wheelers and the Solomons, and now they were faced with a new threat. Iffin Smith was a no count from the Missouri Ozarks with little in the way of skills. The thing he was good at was killing. Ma Solomon paid Iffin $300.00 to go to Colorado and kill the Davises. On the way, he honed his killing skills and survived an Indian attack. After being saved from certain death by Jeb Davis, he recovers from his wounds at the Davis ranch and thinks about the reason for his trip to Colorado, and his promise to Ma Solomon.
