A spark of revolution lights up the air. Dissatisfied with rampant banditry eating away at their livelihoods, the kingdom's farmers have gathered in protest at the Wessin Bridge, all the while a mysterious pale knight lurks in the shadows. Faced with the greatest peril imaginable, Juliette Contzen, 3rd Princess and the only adventurer not to be permanently napping in a bar, bravely strives forth to placate the peasantry.

It's a morning to forget for Lily, who after suffering at the hands of the local wildlife then goes on to earn the ire of a beautiful girl riding a banged-up 1964 Vespa. As Lily later realizes the identity of her mysterious scooter assailant, the news threatens to ensure that her year will end on anything but a peaceful note.

Juliette Contzen is a lazy, good-for-nothing princess. Overshadowed by her siblings, she's left with little to do but nap, read, and occasionally cut the falling raindrops with her sword. Spotted one day by an astonished adventurer, he insists on grading Juliette's swordsmanship, then promptly has a mental breakdown at the result. Soon after, Juliette is given the news that her kingdom is on the brink of bankruptcy. At the threat of being married off, the lazy princess vows to do whatever it takes to maintain her current lifestyle.

A shadow looms over the border. To the north, the Loerstadt Gate stands as the Kingdom of Tirea's bastion against the ambitions of the Grand Duchy of Granholtz. Yet its walls shake as attacks within the volatile border region threaten the fragile peace that exists between the two nations. Watched by the eyes of the continent, Juliette Contzen, 3rd Princess and sometimes adventurer, strives forth to secure her kingdom's borders against the wiles of the Grand Duchess.

A dragon is missing. Somewhere in the Fabled Realm of Ouzelia, where pianos fall from the sky, pigs shrink on demand, and witches deliver parcels, the mysterious curator of a hidden library is no longer to be seen. Needing to negotiate the terms of her loyal handmaiden's employment, Juliette Contzen, 3rd Princess and very temporary visitor, has come to extort a dragon. But first, she needs to rescue him.

A mysterious mist descends on the mining town of Stermondt, drawing forth rumors of unseen shapes moving amidst the quiet streets. A hole into the abyss has been opened. And nobody knows what has awoken.

Above the famed Royal Institute of Mages, an ominous black hole saps all light from the sky. Fear and confusion reign as day turns to an endless night, with neither rich nor poor spared from the effects of the bleak horizon. Horrified at the threat to the innocent begonias in her orchard, Juliette Contzen, 3rd Princess and somehow even more begrudging adventurer than last time, gallantly chooses to meet the growing darkness.

Two rival factions, the Thieves Guild and Smugglers Guild, wage a war for supremacy over the streets and sewers of the kingdom's capital. Refusing to allow lawlessness and economic collapse to threaten her quality of life, Juliette Contzen, 3rd Princess and begrudging adventurer, boldly ventures forth to rescue her kingdom from the clutches of organized crime.

Goblins are looting the kingdom. Having spent approximately five minutes away, Juliette Contzen, 3rd Princess and idolized adventurer by guild receptionists everywhere, must now contend with a tribe of goblins overtaking the fashionable town of Marinsgarde. Why? How? When? Nobody knows. Except perhaps the other adventurers. And this means every answer will be a disaster.

A magical snowstorm engulfs the northern forests of the kingdom, bringing with it the threat of the Winter Court. Yet even amidst news of a fae host massing upon the horizon, secession and rebellion still raises its head. The Duchy of Aquina has announced the Tournament of Crowns, threatening to plunge the realm into its deepest crisis.

A young girl is arguing with a cherry tree. That's a new one for Lily, who's managed to reach the end of her first year at high school without too much weirdness. Unfortunately for her, it's not long after solving this odd mystery that her untroubled life begins to unravel. Discovering an abandoned room at the end of the music department corridor, she finds that aside from it being utterly run-down, it's also devoid of its sole occupant: Sonata Sonoda, the missing journalism club president.

The kingdom is besieged. Foul captains and dreaded pirates hold the coastal ports of the realm hostage, bringing all trade to a halt. Amidst the turmoil, news of a Golden Prince commanding the black fleet is whispered in fearful tones within the bars and taverns of Trierport. Refusing to witness her life of luxury being imperiled, Juliette Contzen, Third Princess and even more begrudging adventurer, valiantly strives forward to defend her kingdom's profit margins.

There's no place like home, especially if home happens to be a mythical hot springs inn. After a bumpy train journey, Lily finally arrives in Hokkaido expecting to see the cows, meadows, and mountains. But here in the Kintempsu Inn, where time seemingly doesn't move, it's more than the postcard views which open up her eyes.

Deep within the countryside, a mysterious prosperity throngs the market town of Hartzwiese. Merchants, travelers, and thieves crowd the bustling streets, all the while rumors of a baroness whose generosity and virtue surpass all others abound, shaking commoners and nobility alike from their idleness. The Rose Princess is here. And only an actual princess can stop her. Even if she's sometimes an adventurer.

Spring blooms amidst Saisei High School's first murder mystery. For Lily, the season of new beginnings is marked by an invitation to watch the theatre club's latest performance. But when a lighting malfunction threatens to spoil the show, she quickly discovers that true accidents so rarely seem to happen around her.

On a warm summer's morning, a bicycle chime outside Lily's window plunges her into waking consciousness, followed by the scowl of a girl with twintailed hair. As the days grow steadily longer, she struggles to navigate the mountains which conspire to ruin her peaceful days. And yet her hardships only begin when she makes her way across the finishing line.

During the day, the heat of June clashes with the start of the rainy season, while at night, the fragrance of damp leaves flows through the open window. But the coming of summer does little to warm Lily’s spirits. As the world turns slower than it did yesterday, a new emptiness appears which the vibrant colours fail to fill.

The colors of spring become more vivid with each passing day. With the city's cultural arts exhibition now on the horizon, it's the chance Natsumi Nakazawa's been waiting for to shine. But here in Saisei High School, she's not the only one out to make a name for herself. Whether it's those who have relentlessly pursued their dreams of stardom, or the ones dipping their toes in the limelight for the very first time, the youth of Kanazawa set their eyes towards the future. And through it all, Lily takes a step forward, without taking another step back.
