I enjoyed the storyline and the author's effort to make it enjoyable. The believability of the doctor, soldier, and teenager ending up together was the biggest strength for me, but forgoing that, I really enjoyed the aspects of first contact, and questions about what that may look like are great!

Enjoyable read about first contact.

I enjoyed the science as well as the story. It makes more sense that this would be the way and purpose of visiting our planet and species. I would have liked a bit more after entering. Part 2? Maybe a little more on meeting the actual “aliens”.

A different take on extraterrestrial visitation

I appreciate the efforts at scientific accuracy, the concepts, and the way that despite the interesting alien tech, the human characters really drew me in.
