4⭐️ BUT IMO, MALE NARRATOR DIDN’T FIT STORYLINE

What a good story this was as strong, independent, fierce Gia goes undercover to get close to her ‘Family's’ enemy.. and struts herself headfirst into danger. They’re life long acquaintances her and emotionally broken Joshua.. but now he‘s been asked to be Gia’s handler. To keep his eyes and ears trained on Gia to keep her safe as she succeeds in getting closer and closer to another man. It's a high stakes dangerous and desperate move to get precious intel on their enemy. However, Gina and Joshua have a hard time keeping it professional, keeping it platonic, keeping it clean and keeping it from becoming something long lasting. And their rollercoaster was full of suspense, intrigue, action, darkness, sex and romance.. which I loved.

BUT, what I reeeeally didn’t love was the choice of narrator for Joshua (no offence Noel) but the Casting Director who actually thought you were a good fit for this listen should be taken out at dawn, paraded in front of a group of us listeners and shot at dawn!! You’d be great in Mysteries and Thrillers but I thought your voice just wasn’t sexy or right for the part of a young Don as your voice was too old for the part you were playing.. and it didn’t fit the picture either. You’re ok Noel - just not in the romance genre please. It was Duet narration which helped a little and Ramona and Sarah were great.. so I’ll continue with Book 2 which is a continuation of the plot but it’s manwhore Caleb Accardi’s story up next.

Worth a credit? 50/50 - Strictly because of the casting - as it wasn’t the fully immersive and deliciously drool-worthy listen I’d hoped it’d be. However, it ebbs and flows well with never a dull moment as the very enjoyable plot twists and weaves its web that’s full of Mafia men and their wars, their schemes and the villains they face. And the young woman who sacrificed herself to save their asses!!

This was the best read I have read so far this year. It was everything I wanted and more.

Such a deliciously dark and cold read that will keep you happily invested throughout the whole book.

Now, onto the next book!

Loved the female's voice. Hooking and so compelling!

HOT AND SEXY

The only thing i did not care for was the male voice for our Joshua. The women narrators were fine and the only reason I was able to finish listening to the story. Well not the only reason.
The story line has you from page one... I feel for the twins in their mom's story and love how they love her.. I knew their story would be as good.
Josh does live up to the title Cold King for all that he has been through. I knew his leading lady had to be a bad
a$$ to be able to handle him. Gia did give him hell and to watch them come together and fall for one another .. All rollercoster ride Siobhan give is kidnapping, fights and some vilent content but it made the book. plot twists that i did not see coming. You will not be disapointed in book.

Dark, intense story!!

O.M.G.!!!!! Cold King of New York, an Audiobook by Siobhan Davis is a MASTERPIECE!!!! It’s the story of Joshua and Gia. She’s a formidable member of the team and she’s being enlisted. Joshua is her handler.

Sooooooooo much happening in this wildly imaginative, engrossing, deliciously decadent story….you won’t be able to put it down until you read the very last word!! I was catapulted into this story almost immediately!! My mind racing to discover the truth. This story is a frenzy of lies, deceit, traitorous intent, loyalty, dedication, and so much more!! Ends in the most shocking conclusion ever!!!!! Didn’t see this coming at all!! Ends in a major cliffhanger!!

This Audiobook was wonderfully narrated by Noel Harrison, Ramona Master, and Sarah Puckett. I loved the dark vibes that each of these performances exuded!!! They sent chills down my spine as I listened to this incredibly engrossing, intensely dark story!!! Excellent performances!!

Just the beginning

Siobhan Davis has written another heart-stopping book. I cringed, smiled, laughed, and cringed some more. I had tears in my eyes. I held my breath several times while my heart pounded. I absolutely cannot wait for the next book to see where this goes.

Noel Harrison, Ramona Master, and Sarah Puckett are excellent narrators. Noel is a new to me narrator and I loved his deep, growly voice. Ramona and Sarah are favorite narrators of mine. Once again they, along with Noel, give us an emotional performance that has the audiobook rolling like a movie in my head.
