Palaces. Politics. Passion. A romance too explosive to hide.

U.S. Ambassador Grace Randolph never expected her toughest assignment would be keeping her heart in check. But when she meets Princess Pippa Elizabeth—the sharp-tongued royal with a wicked smile—the rules of diplomacy fly straight out the window.

Their chemistry is undeniable, their stolen moments electric. But what begins as a private affair quickly becomes tabloid fodder, and soon the whole world is watching. Every kiss sparks headlines. Every touch threatens Grace’s career. And Pippa must decide if she’s ready to risk the monarchy’s wrath for the woman she loves.

Between palace intrigue, political fallout, and the tabloids’ obsession with their every move, Grace and Elizabeth are about to discover that falling in love is the easy part. Holding on to it? That’s the real test.

As far as virtual voice goes, it is usually really bad. But in this series the virtual voice is actually tolerable. Yes, there are a lot of mistakes with pronunciation of certain words, and lack of emotions, but the voice isn't as annoying as most.

The relationships in this political series always cause controversy and one must give up their career for a sustainable relationship out of the spotlight. Although in this book the Princess (Duchess) and her partner will always be in the spotlight. The Princess due to her family name and her business, and the resigned Ambassador due to her political voice.

There is a little spice in this book, but not enough to rate more than 🌶️🔥
