I have always loved Valerie since one day at a time. I watched religiously. I loved Van Halen, was my growing up years with both. I can say that this book and her narration was spectacular! Felt like a best friend as she spoke. I love her even more as she is open, honest and down to earth. Sweet as can be. I am sorry you felt all that for so many years but I am cheering for you as you evolved to who you have become. Thank you so much for this peek into your life, heart & mind. I wish you had more to tell as I couldn’t stop being drawn in to your beautiful spirit. I loved every second of this book. Please write another… lol. Transparency, like no other!

This book was excellent and even more so that she was reading it. I never ever expected to hear the things that happened to her and her life who would’ve ever thought I’m not gonna elaborate here, but everyone should read this book. Every female should read this book. Valerie has a heart of gold. I wish I could meet her someday that’s how I feel after reading this book.
