I felt empowered after reading this book.
Do not let anyone gaslight you into believing you cannot overcome trauma from your past.

The book talks about how to overcome overwhelming feelings from hurtful and destructive incidences in our past. It talks about starting small and thinking about where you would like to be tomorrow. We already have enough tension in this life without adding shame to the mix. I liked this book as the tone of the writing and the narration made me feel that they were not judging me but rather they believed that anyone could recover and that anyone could overcome the effects of abuse or neglect from when they were younger. It felt like they believed in me.

The Narcissistic Abuse audiobook is an eye-opening look at the effects of gaslighting and complex PTSD. It's packed with information and perspectives from survivors, mental health professionals, and experts on narcissistic abuse.

One of the most important things you'll learn from this audiobook is the definition of gaslighting. This term gets thrown around a lot, but it's often misunderstood. Gaslighting is a form of psychological abuse that causes someone to doubt their own sanity and memories. It's a way to control and manipulate someone into thinking they're crazy.

The audiobook is also a great resource for understanding complex PTSD. This type of trauma is caused by prolonged exposure to emotional abuse, neglect, or violence. It can be very hard to identify and can often be misdiagnosed as anxiety or depression. If you or someone you know might be suffering from complex PTSD, this audiobook could be vital in helping you get the help you need.
