A wonderful Rewrite!

I read the original version when it came out and definitely enjoyed the book, but this aged up and spiced up rewrites are truely breathtaking.
The spicy bits in this first book are pretty tame, while still being hot as hell. The violence is well described and action packed. Definitely recommend you check it out, especially if you liked, or were on the fence about the first one.

Excellent update to the original

I loved the original series, and I’m loving this one, too. Moira Quirk is a great narrator for Aileana. I only wish a male narrator had been brought in to read Kiaran’s chapters.

Dang it!

I’m only just through book two! I’m already sad that it’s only three books. Sooo good. More please and thank you!

Decent Accent

I thought this was meh, the highland accent was decent enough. I felt there wasn’t enough backstory for the amount of chemistry that was being told between the main characters. One moment they are enemies and the next, they are star crossed lovers. There was not enough character building. I hate when they have the males POV and he is just like “I want her with everything I am” right off the bat. There was no chemistry or build up between two characters you’d want from enemies to lovers…
