Perfect Amount of Spice and Sexual Tension!

This one got me. Maybe it was just the edible I had taken lol, but I actually did cry at the end! I REALLY enjoy Lauren Blakely's (relatively) low drama steamy romance stories.

Don't get me wrong, I also love the romantasy "you're my political enemy and I can't be king and save all my people if we stay together" stuff, but knowing ahead of time that nothing huge or heartbreaking is going to happen is a much needed alternative.

The flirting got a tad silly and cringey a couple times, but what's not realistic about that lol?? Highly recommend this and the other Lauren Blakely that I've read so far!

Brooke & Sean Deliver Audiobook Magic

This audiobook was an absolute delight from start to finish. Sean Masters delivers his usual smooth, expressive performance—but Brooke Bloomingdale is the true standout. She gives Skylar so much personality, charm, and sparkle that it feels like the character is stepping right off the page. Their dual narration brings the tension, humor, and tender moments to life in a way that makes the story even more addictive.

The cuteness factor is over the top. Seriously! A dachshund with side eye nd a humping humping problem. A hot neighbor, grumpy sunshine, full of endearment and hilarious banter. This story has everything! What's even better than the story? The voice over artists that bring it all to life. AI's got nothing on Sean Masterson & Brooke Bloomingdale. They are masters of their craft!
