Not my favorite

Love D.D. Black but this one was a really slow starter and the narration was just too cringey for my liking. I did like the last two hours or so, but it was my least favorite title of his by far.

The thrill of the story . Love the book and the performer. Another phenomenal DD Black presentation.

Good new addition

I thought at first that it was kind of slow, but it picked up up quickly. Scary stuff, made more scary and believable in the current political climate. The main character started out buttoned up and a bit stiff, but very good and likable at the end. The promised cat is a great addition, and the last couple paragraphs made me laugh out loud, and bode good reading for the next book!
