I will remember this for a long time

I loved the quotes, the relatability, and the raw intensity of the the MMC. So amazing!!

Plot twists on PLOT TWISTS. Soooo Good!

Definitely a slow burn through the first book but this 2nd piece masterfully enhances the storyline and keeps you questioning and engaged. After listening to the dramatized audio of ACOTAR the vocal changes for the male characters from the female narrator can be a letdown or even a little distracting at times, but if you can overlook that…she voices the female characters and narration well.

My ADHD brain normally wonders about multiple things going on in my life while listening to stories. This was not the case in this story. The narrator didn’t cause unnecessary anxiety either.
The fact that I was frustrated with the mc’s is good because it meant I was invested. The cliffhanger! My heart!
My imagination is going wild and I can’t wait for book 3 to be released! Love this Author!

The series checks all the boxes for the genre that has seemed to have filled my account. Fantasy- political power struggle, bad vs good is slanted and the characters evolve. It’s a Steamy and dreamy escape.

First of- the author is the kindest human being for having the books come out so close together… the story is incredible I’m utterly obsessed with Draven Ryat, thanks
