A man who was forced to become an Assassin is interrupted just as he was to kill the last impediment to get to the Senator who sent him down the path. Earth has been chosen for Integration into the Multi-Versal System and reality itself will shift to a post apocalyptic scenario. It will not stop him from keeping the promise to end the Senator and bring justice for the broken women he left behind.

Similar in scope and theme to Primal Hunter and Defiance of the Fall... Gideon Sho -- The Umbral Savage.

Excerpt from Book 1

A man of wealth and means sits at an ornate table in a high end luxurious hotel speaking into a cell phone, a malicious glint to his eyes as he closes another million dollar pharmaceutical merger. He is blissfully unaware of the man behind him, in a black leather trench coat, a hood obscuring his face in deep shadow, a pistol with a suppressor aimed at the back of his head. Both are frozen within the moment of moments, between a breath and sift of sand, one with the anticipation of a killer, the other, riding high upon the arrogance of wealth.

The book is full of tropes while the writing is somewhat good and the art artistic this of it is fine. He basically uses every trope in the RPG genre over and over and over and over again. I am considering returning this book through Audible when I rarely ever do that if I finish the book I probably won’t but it’s not gonna be a recommended book from me. Wayne Mitchell’s always good so I gave five stars to the performance, but the story was horrible.

The insult the Texans in this book is horrible

The book was overall just amazing I loved the characters and the character building...the world building is really fun as well and on top of all that the way the system is set up is really cool I can't wait for the plot to continue in further books to see where it goes!

Fantastic

I say that because i found the side characters very annoying especially the bond. Its hard to take mc seriously side characters are a distraction. Low self esteem former slave falls in love to easily . Mc been solo whole life and few days into tutorial he’s catching feelings. Anyway its not bad for what it is wayne gets a little crazy with voices ( though thats normal) but sometimes i felt like i was listening to silver fox or battle forged . The familiar was what turned me off and where i stopped

Imo would have been better as solo mc

The book is right up my ally however Wayne Mitchell's voices for male characters ranges from 4 stars to maybe 3. His female voices range from barable to get through the book becuase I like other aspects of it to "I want to stick knives through my ear drums just to make it stop." If a character has the latter voice is major character it becomes a problem. Dude can do good to okay male voices however should never, ever do female voices, Lucky the character with the unbarable does have to many lines. Yes the character that sets me off is the Dragonling Companion. I did manage to finish.

I will most likely finish on kindle.

the MC started off his pre system as being a smart calculating character that gets the job done. after the backstory happens he meets an Elf that snorts like a pig when she laughs, the demon/system voice sounds like a garbled mess. a lot of the other characters voice sound like straight Oscar the grouch mixed in the the garbage disposal running. He passes up loot, continues to lie to himself about having no fear but obviously fears when he companion and dragonling gets hurt or almost dies. I'm hoping the companion and her little annoying rat with wings dies. im hoping he wises up and stops being so passive about loot that will obviously help him get stronger. the story is kind of flimsy. I haven't returned it because I know it takes a lot for an author to write and I somewhat enjoy it. but damn does it have me wanting to smack some sense into someone. Hopefully they wise up and get another narrator to do the other voices.

the narrator and weak story
