Get ready to cry

Okay tillie needs to chill. I love her books but have to be prepared when reading them. This book is sweet and sad.

Absolute heartbreak

A beautiful story with an amazing performance!!! Loved this book and prepare the tissues as you will be sobbing throughout the entire book.

Emotional beautiful and heartbreaking

A five star soul shatterer. This book is a total roller coaster of emotions. I was laughing. I was crying but really I was sobbing. The love story is so pure. It’s going to stay with me for a long time totally emotional, beautiful and heartbreaking. My kind of book.

Loved June and Jesse’s story but it broke my heart!!

Write Me For You by Tillie Cole broke my heart into a million little pieces!! If you love friends to lovers, angst, tear jerkers, first love, dual POV, YA romances then you will love this book!!

This is the 3rd book I’ve read by Cole and this is the third book that has gutted me. I love her books and writing. I love that she writes about real life heartbreaking subject matters. June is 17yo and wants to be a writer. Jesse is also 17yo and wants to play football professionally. June and Jesse couldn’t be more opposite but the one they have in common…they both are fighting cancer. They are both enrolled in a study at a treatment facility. Jesse falls in love with Junebug the moment he lays his eyes on her. June has never felt more seen in her life as she does when she meets Jesse. I was gutted by the end of this book. I love the story line. The side characters were just as important as the main characters in this story. Do you know how hard it was to listen to this story while at work, trying not to cry my eyes out? I’ll tell you, it was extremely hard!! So note to self…don’t ever listen to a Tillie Cole book while you work. I purchased the audiobook and listened to narrators Rachel L. Jacobs and Mark Sanderlin who did an amazing job narrating. They brought these characters to life and did a great job at pulling you into their world and story.
