Will Cannon rides to Concho Creek, Colorado, to buy some broncs, but he finds a gang of outlaws trying to take over this small town. The outlaws are going to dam up the creek and force the other farmers and ranchers to sell their property. Will makes friends with a beautiful woman and the three bronc busters help Will fight the outlaws.

The Bounty Hunter: The Wheelers continues the story of Spike Davis. Now he has his brothers, Chip and Jeb, to help with the wild mustang operation, and their assistance in his life as a bounty hunter that seems to keep calling him back. Stumpy rescues a girl from Comancheros, and then fights the Comanche Iron Kettle and his braves to get back home. He ends up keeping the Indian alive and hangs him from the giant catalpa tree. A demented preacher hires men to kidnap the girl Stumpy rescued.

The story of Hannibal Brinks and Stumpy Smith continues. Stumpy and Mabel get married and move into his cabin. Hannibal and Stumpy decide to take another trip to the Neutral Strip in search of feral cattle. Thelma decides that she wants to be a working cowhand and puts her mettle on display by saddle breaking a horse that Hannibal couldn’t handle

After working on the Oliver Rogers ranch, Bas and Fletch Stevens decide to go out on their own. They are faced with the daunting challenge of building a ranching operation on the Arkansas River in Colorado. Among their challenges are the Indians who consider the area their home, the hostile weather, cattle rustlers, homesteaders who encroach on the public land, and the ever-changing price of beef.

The Davis brothers had survived the Wheelers and the Solomons, and now they were faced with a new threat. Iffin Smith was a no count from the Missouri Ozarks with little in the way of skills. The outlaw boss says he will take all of the land given to the Mexican people in land grants by the King of Spain. Other outlaws have made such a claim in the past and all of those outlaws failed to claim one acre of land but the outlaws did find some people willing to join their cause.

Deputy US Marshal Creek Rivers has a unique ability to track down and capture or kill men he is assigned to find. After he captures some of the most dangerous men of the period, Creek is summoned by the attorney general to find a little boy who has been kidnapped. Finding the Suggs boy, the kidnappers, and returning the boy safely put another of Creek's skills on display.

Will Cannon rides the trail alone to California in search of the Blackman Gang. Will thinks a district judge named "Hanging Henry" Hart has joined an outlaw gang. Several other elected officials such as the district attorney and the sheriff may also be working with the polecat outlaws. Will gets some help from some California state marshals and from a beautiful women as he tries to bring down the Wall Gang.

On their way to save the girls from a fate worse than death, they face renegade Indians, cattle thieves, and more Comancheros than they want to confront.
