As a hospice volunteer chaplain, I had the privilege and honor of meeting with a lovely lady celebrating her 92nd birthday. Although she was unable to leave her bed due to her condition, she nonetheless was of good cheer. Her faith was an inspiration to me and to everyone at the nursing home where she stayed. After I finished writing my last book, Faith, I thought I would take a breather from writing for a while. Apparently God had other things in mind, because early this morning He planted the thought in my mind to write a book on Charity. I have devoted much of my life in service to God by volunteering my time and resources to charitable endeavors. It is what God has called me to do and I do it gladly. God gets all the credit for opening the doors and providing me with a passion and a purpose for my life.
