This was a great shorter book to listen too. Troy Duran and Avery Reid do an awesome job with the narration. If you are looking for a quick listen you can’t go wrong with this book. Five Stars across the board on this one. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good story but......

I did like this story. The mm did an excellent job! But, Avery finished EVERY sentence with a large inhale of breath. Very irritating for me. I considered turning this audio into a DNF except the story kept me going. Great story, but I'll be reading books if Avery is narrating.

This story is a dark, fast-paced, and surprisingly funny ride that mixes vigilante justice with messy romance. Beck gives off strong Dexter vibes while also being awkward, closed-off, and hilariously inexperienced in intimacy (yet absolutely enamored with TK).
TK is a no-filter kind of girl with stalker tendencies and a fascination for Beck.

It has great potential (banter, spice, plot, unhinged but cute characters), but I felt like I was missing something. Some parts of the story could have been more developed, because I really wanted more details.

Overall, this story is violent, spicy, and addictive—even if the pace is sometimes a little too fast, leaving a few pieces here and there missing.

This was my first dark romcom and this book was SO GOOD. I LOVEE an unhinged s3ri@l k!ll3r especially when he’s a possessive daddy. 🤭 TK was such a funny, sassy, and badass FMC and then the cherry on top is the mutual obsession that made their combo even better. This book had me constantly cracking up because it was so funny. I loved that lots of little snips in it were so heavily relatable, because you feel super connected to the FMC specifically. It’s very short and fast paced with fire spicy scenes, basically it just felt like a good time throughout the whole book. I recommend giving it a try especially because it feels perfect for the fall/spooky season vibes rn. 👻🔪🩸

P.S. I read the ebook and listened to the audio and both read amazing.
